My photography serves as an educational bridge between human development and wildlife preservation. Inspired by the vital conservation work of zoos and the active biodiversity of my own backyard habitat, my photography advocates for the creation of supportive environments for birds, insects, and all wildlife. I hope to inspire others to view themselves as active caretakers of the ecosystems we share.

My "Backyard" Galleries are almost solely photographed in our backyard.  My wife is the gardener of the family and does the majority of the planting which attracts all creatures to our little yard.  We provide many sources of water (birdbaths - both heated and regular) and we have trees in our yard, as well as the neighbors....which offers our birds and critters the protection they need to survive.  

My "Beyond" Galleries are offered just because I love photography.  I like to challenge myself to get pictures of different events and while a lot of these galleries are still nature-based, it gives me the opportunities to provide shots of local events, vacations, and landscapes.  I hope you enjoy!
